Shark Bird, MD, CMD, was chief medical officer with one of the largest post acute providers in the country with over 300 physicians servicing over 3000 facilities in 27 states. Dr. Bird has been practicing wound care full time in the post acute setting since 2004. In addition to his role as CMO, Dr. Bird serves on the advisory council for Ball State University's College of Health, and is adjunct faculty with Nova Southeastern University.
