Daniel Thorngren, MD is regional medical director for Altea Medical in the state of Florida. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital followed by a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. He is passionate about incorporating palliative medicine into the post-acute and long-term care setting as well as coaching students, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
