Dr. Melanie Trigo is a consultant pharmacist with over 21 years of experience in long-term care. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1994 and a Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy in 2008. She started her practice in the acute care setting which included positions as a Clinical Specialist, Operations Supervisor, and Director of Pharmacy Services. Dr. Trigo has held academic appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University and Professor at Larkin School of Nursing. Currently, she is the consultant pharmacist for several nursing homes in the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast area of eastern Florida.
