Ronald Rosen, MD, CMD is a geriatrician with Mass General Brigham's Extended Care group, serving as medical director of a skilled nursing facility. He is part of a multidisciplinary team caring for long-term care patients with Care Dimensions Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. Rosen consults as an expert witness with Expert Consulting Services, focusing on long-term care and hospice litigation.
He is a board member of Post Acute Wound and Skin Integrity Council and on the faculty of PALTmed's Core Curriculum.
His work emphasizes the medical and legal implications of terminal ulcers. A former member of his hospital and PALTmed ethics committees, Dr. Rosen advocates for diagnostic precision and ethical clarity in the management of end-of-life skin changes.
