Sam Williams, MSN, FNP-C, ACHPN, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in palliative care. Beginning her nursing career in ICU and CCU settings, Sam developed a strong foundation in managing complex and critically ill patients, which continues to inform her advanced practice.
Sam has collaborated with Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Medicare Advantage (MA) organizations, supporting innovative approaches to value-based, patient-centered care for individuals with serious illnesses.
In her current role as Director of Palliative Operations, Sam oversees palliative programs throughout the county. She leads initiatives to improve clinical outcomes and enhance operations across the service line, while guiding interdisciplinary teams in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. Passionate about improving quality of life for patients and families, Sam is dedicated to advancing best practices in palliative care and supporting those facing advanced and life-limiting conditions.
