Dr. Pandya is Professor and Chair of the Geriatrics Department at Kiran Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, NSU, past Project Director of the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program, and fellowship program director at Aventura Hospital. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Endocrinology, and has contributed to several CPGs. She is a past president and board member, for PALTmed, serves on the JAMDA editorial board, and the Professional Practice Commmittee of the American Diabetes Association. Her work has focussed on diabetes management in older adults. Dr. Pandya served on an HHS advisory committee and as the president of the Broward County Area Agency on Aging.
