Dr. Jamehl L Demons is an associate professor of Internal Medicine/Geriatrics at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston Salem, NC and a member of the PALTmed Board of Directors. Jamehl has been active in PALTmed on the Transitions of Care committee, former DEI committee, the initial Attending Physicians Competencies committee, the onsite Director of the Futures Program She has presented on several panels at the national conference on topics related to infectious disease, DEI and Women in LTC. She is a past president of the North Carolina chapter.
