Dr. Hinrichs-Kinney is an Assistant Professor in the University of Colorado Physical Therapy Program and a Faculty Investigator at the Eastern Colorado VA Healthcare System’s Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center (GRECC). Her research focuses on advancing rehabilitation by implementing evidence-based interventions into clinical practice, with particular emphasis on innovative implementation strategies and the influence of contextual factors. Her work integrates education, workforce development, and implementation science to bridge the gap between research and practice and improve rehabilitation outcomes.
