Session Summary: There are not going to be enough fellowship trained geriatricians to staff all nursing facilities in the country, and as many of our trainees are on their journeys to their own clinical practice, we should be introducing them to the post-acute and long term care environment. This helps increase awareness and interest to encourage a career in post-acute and long term care medicine, but also helps introduce awareness and comfort in management to those who may be our colleagues in the space. During this session, we will introduce and share several ways that graduate medical education can be incorporated your clinical practice with minimal disruptions or need for additional burden.
